About the 2023 Edition
The 2023 National Innovation Summit, held at the National ICT Innovation Hub in Kampala, brought together engineers, innovators, students, policymakers, industry stakeholders to explore the role of technology in advancing sustainable development.
The summit focused on how engineers can leverage their technical skills to design and deploy solutions that address real societal challenges. Emphasis was placed on sustainable development and humanitarian technologies with discussions and showcases highlighting practical innovations across sectors such as agriculture, health, education and environmental sustainability.
The event provided a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the strengthening of innovation ecosystems, encouraging participants to translate ideas into impactful, real-world solutions.
