ABOUT INNOVATION SUMMIT

The IEEE Africa Innovation Summit (AIS) 2026 – Uganda is a premier regional platform advancing innovation, emerging technologies, and their application for societal impact across Africa.

Evolving from the IEEE Uganda National Innovation Summit (NIS), AIS 2026 builds on a strong legacy of convening stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and the development ecosystem. Previous editions have been successfully delivered in collaboration with key partners including the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board (HTB), IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS), Hive Colab, Logel Science Foundation, the National ICT Innovation Hub, the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, and other sector stakeholders.
